Who We Are:
Dustin is from Crescent, OK.
Becky grew up in Henrietta, TX.
We met at band camp in 2004.
After a 5 year run, we became Mr. and Mrs. Dustin Walker on June 5, 2010.
This was us then.
Awww.
Now....
We live in Northeast Oklahoma City.
Our apartment number is 1304.
Dustin.....
is a medical assistant
likes to read and write
likes harry potter
has a degree in Biology
and wants to go to seminary next fall.
Becky.....
is going to school to be a music teacher
likes to knit
misses Texas
is an Arbonne lady (need some skin care?!)
and has a heart for orphans.
Here's the plan:
On October 14, we participated in the Oklahoma Walk for Autism.
The purpose of the walk was to raise money and awareness to solve the puzzle of Autism.
On the way home, we talked about how we spend our time, and it occured to us....
why not spend it serving others?
We've decided that through the rest of the year, we would begin "Dating for a Cause".
We're trading in movies and restaurants for shelters and soup kitchens.
We realize how blessed we are and hope to bless others with our prayers, time, gifts, and service.
As we serve, we'll update with pictures and stories of people we meet.
We know we'll be inspired by their stories, and we hope you will be to!
